drive shaft universals

My  u-joints could sure use replacement (the cleveland style I think).   Ebay did not reveal much as did not other sources.  JUst wondered what other folks are doing .   49 dodge b1b 1/2 ton.         Thanks  Ron

I bought one on ebay for my 1 ton several years ago.  If there is a driveshaft shop in your area you may want to check with them.  They can order parts by dimension instead of just by application.

Driveshaft places are the hot setup.  I take both the pinion yoke and the slip yoke and a dimension of what I want center to center.  They will make the driveshaft the length I need with the hardware attached that will fit what I brought.

There may be a piece meal approach that might be cheaper but you will not find an easier or more accurate route to go.

thanks guys good idea but I liked the Roberts set for $165.  Well I don't really like the price, but want to stay original as I can.  Ron
