H Suhling Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Took my truck on a little over a 300 mile round trip today. Went to get some pictures of a little old gas station I seen on Rt. 36 about 70 miles west of Hannibel MO. Truck ran great the heat guage stayed on the "0" of 160 with a 180 degree thermostat, oil pressure guage stayed on 55 psi. Forgot how to get the pictures here, but they are in my album on the DPETCA site if you want to check them out. Harvey Quote
Bob_Koch Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Nice going on the trip. Great looking old station Quote

Vintrader Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Is that where the station has always been? Talk about the road less traveled. Dutch Quote
Reg Evans Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Beautiful restoration job on the '51 Harvey !!! Quote
H Suhling Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Posted August 3, 2007 No it was moved about a mile east of its original location due to new hiway construction. It is sitting on old RT 36 and when you stand on the old hiway it doesn't seem as wide as a single lane of a two lane road and there was two way traffic on it. Thanks Reg Harvey Quote
Guest jtw3749c Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 was that station near Macon, Calleo? Quote
H Suhling Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Posted August 3, 2007 It is west of Macon just east of New Cambria orginally it sat at the crossroads in New Cambria Harvey Quote
