garyp Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 I have made new fender brackets for my 39 dodge but because of all the metal I had to cut out of the fenders I don't know where to mount the brackets and for the life of me canot find a picture of the brackets on the car it would probably be the same on a Plymouth but I am not sure. Please Help I am desperate. Thanks Quote
Andydodge Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 The fender brackets mount onto an extension of the rolled lip that forms the wheel arch, the spot to attach it is on the horizontal edge at the bottom rear of the fender if you have the brackets then attach them to the bracket on the lower cowl at the front and/or frame at the rear and hold them out against the rolled fender edge and you'll see where they go......at least this is what we have here in Oz & the fenders were USA sourced..............andyd Quote
