Jerry Roberts Posted January 4, 2017 Report Posted January 4, 2017 My book calls for either MCH-6101 or MCH-6201 for 1951 Dodge . My book only goes through 1951 . Quote
51Meadowbrook Posted January 15, 2017 Author Report Posted January 15, 2017 ok i got my rebuilt starter back from Texas alternator and starter in Austin Tx back on Jan 5th sorry im just now posting this. I asked the owner whos been in the buisness for over 50 years, about the starter if it was interchangable with the 6101. He checked his book and some website to make sure before i had it rebuilt. He told me that the 6101 , 6201 and the 6205 were interchangeable. He said that there were suddlle changes made to the starters but it did not effect how they fit or worked on the vehicle. Quote
