The machine shop called and said it would take .20. " to clean it up so I said that's good . water distribution tube turns out to be brass and it's in mint shape my next project is looking for some braided red plug wires , pulled the transmission and noticed someone prior had put extra big fat flat washers on the top corner of one of the bolts that hold the transmission to the bell housing I guess they did that because the housing was cracked ,good thing I have lots of extra parts laying around went to my spare engine pile and just happen to have an extra three speed sitting there cleaned it up put it in hopefully it's good, went to put the went to put the driveshaft on and noticed someone welded the driveshaft but didn't get it phased correctly so going back to my pile to look for my spare driveshaft kind of proud now that I've been keeping and hoarding all these parts . These are the plug wires I want .

He said .20" was the minimum it would take to clean it up so I will have to Remeasure it when I get it back . I noticed I have 251 engines that have both been previously rebuilt I will be bringing them into the shop and tearing them down and see about doing one of them up , I really want to put the supercharger that I have on it ??? ,I will start a new thread and see what everybody thinks there's lots of guys over on the H.A.M.B. That have done it , It'll be more for looks and then will be for performance.
