Hi all,

I am new to this forum, so please go easy on me.

I am looking to swap a larger cu mopar flathead 6 engine into my 1928 Chrysler which has a 181cu flathead 25-1/4" length.

I am looking to re-build a  230cu (25-1/4") to swap into the Chrysler.

Does anyone know;

   If I would have any issues with the existng 3 speed crash box mating up to the 230cu? ie. flywheel, pressure plate, clutch,      bell housing,  etc.

   Will there be any issues with engine mounts?

   Will my pedal assembly have any issues clearing the 230cu block? I am from Australia, so the pedals are on the right hand    side.

   Will my starter motor bolt up?

   Can I  use my existing exhaust and inlet manifold (from the 181cu) to keep the original updraft carby and exhaust?

I understand that I would need to use 230cu dissy, alternator, fuel pump, etc

Keep smiling,

Moe
