Some interesting U tube videos, of the LA area in the 50s as well as other parts of the USA by road.

Now all that traffic and freeway speeds in the 50s, and think, it was donne with Bias Ply Tires, and single pot master cylinder brake systems. Now speeds are no doubt lower, traffic not as wild and crazy as now, but still a lot of cars and trucks going up and down the roadways, to the tune of 1600 per hour per lane on 1 Los Angeles Freeway.

What a time of growth and prosperity for the people of California, after WW2.....
