I've had a 318 Poly/cast iron auto in my 1940 Dodge since 1973, there would be more space in the 1950 Dodge I'd think......andyd

Bluebell, not really able to as they are way underneath, I built the car as a rod in 1973, with various updates over the yrs....the mounts were just 1/4 plate off either side of the chassis where the front inside angular frame pieces brace the crossmember to the frame rails with flat plate supporting boxed in pieces from either side of the engine block "ears" using rubber "biscuit" type mounts.....I know, hard to picture without a picture.....lol.....I have an Austin 1800 rack narrowed 9" with Oz Leyland P76 10.5" vented discs, rear end is a 1990 Oz Ford Falcon disc brake rear end......was a late 50's Oz Chrysler rear end from 1973 till 2005.......steering column is Oz Valiant modified/hand built.............in the 1st pic the engine mount is down beside the barely visible fuel pump, the 2nd/3rd pics show the rack mount & bracketry, the last the disc adaptation.........I'd be surprised if you would have much trouble installing the engine in your 1950........the 325 Poly...is it with the "curved" valve covers or the "sawtooth" shaped ones like Plymouth used (and my cars) 1957-66?......andyd
