Vent window lower pivot

Gents,

 

I have not done this yet, but before I do, can anyone tell me what fastens the lover pivot to the vent window frame?

From the outside it kind of looks like they could be some type of rivet but I cant be sure. Yes of course I can rip it all apart and find out, but I want to make sure I do it correctly.

A washer and a nut

Tom. I am not talking about the obvious. Look at the two mounting holes on the horizontal plane.. I suspect some kind of rivet.

Yes, correct. A couple of small rivets.
