grey beard Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Anyone know a source for these park lamp gaskets? I'd just use sealer, but whatever you use shows through the lenses on these things. Any suggestions? On another topic, has anyone had any joy straightening out kotched running board outer edges? Mine are pretty solid yet, but they wave at you as you go by, if you know what I mean - someone musta' learned to drive by "ear." If I save 'em it'll take much body work. Thanks Quote
Tony_Urwin Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 My park lamps must have been replaced by a previous owner. They are Signal-Stat 3600 series lamps that take a dual filament bulb. The lamps are still available through Truck-Lite, who bought Signal-Stat a few years ago. Mine have the clear lens, but they are also available with red or amber lens. Mine have a rubber gasket behind the lens, but I kinda doubt they fit the stock lens. Bolts right into the standard park lens opening though. The stock lamps weren't Signal-Stat were they? Quote
Jim Shepard Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Don't know of a source for repo gaskets, but they're pretty simple. Mine were there when I restored by B2B, but pretty brittle. I found some flat rubber sheets about the same thickness and cut out new ones. Quote
