Heater motor 6V running on 12 V thru a resistor

R10 O/D 6V components running on 12V

Changed all bulbs to 12V

Changed wiper from Vacum to 12V electric

Changed coil to 12V with a ballast resistor, so still 6V

Alternator bracket was simple, used the gen bracket with slight mods

starter 6V running on 12V

Now can use modern components....stereo.....gps.....electronic mopar ignition.

Not as much work as you would think, Like James 20000 miles and no issues with the remaining 6V parts.

Ok that's better than your first post of just bulbs lol. Didn't want ppl to think all you had to do was change bulbs.

My car has two blower motors on the heater system.

My car has 6v electric wipers

The M6 transmission can't be ran on 12v. Would burn out the solenoid.

Depending on the car, you'd have to use voltage drops on many components. The list I listed in my other post is what my car would need. Others would vary.

For me and my car, its easier and cheaper to keep it 6v. With a Optima and correct cables it's just like a 12v car without all the mods to make all the components work.
