Darbone85737 Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) Just received the new exhaust I bought on Ebay from Classic Exhausts. It took almost as long to get it out of the box as it did to install it. Fit was great and the car is very quiet. I bought it for $ 239. For some reason they list the same item with different prices, both higher and lower. I don't understand Ebay marketing but I'm happy with the product Edited April 22, 2015 by Darbone85737 2 Quote

joey4420 Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 That is good to hear I need a new exhaust and was just quoted over $400 at a local shop. I had to walk away, fast. Quote
Darbone85737 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 I saw the stainless option as well. I'm in Tucson, AZ where the aluminized option will last longer than I will live. It's nice driving down the road without my neighbors thinking they were being buzzed by a crop duster Quote
Robert Horne Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Several years ago, I bought a hydraulic bender, about $70 then/$110 now, to make my exhaust system myself. I bought "sticks" of exhaust pipe from the local muffler shop. After bending the pipes, I painted the pipes with barbeque grill paint, and installed. Pipes still looks good today. I spent $125 all together, which would be about $200 at today's costs. I did not install a muffler though, maybe one of these days. At 80HP, my Coupe is not too loud for short trips..... 2 Quote
