randygall Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 I have a 1950 B-2-D. I dont have any more adjustment for my clutch,the dics is in good shape. I am thinking that the flywheel may have been resurfaced several times in its long history. Can anyone tell me the thickness of a new flywheel?. Mine is 1.100 inchs thick. Jerry Roberts Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 When the flywheel is resurfaced , the whole surface is machined down , not just the area where the clutch disk touches . That means that the surface where the pressure plate bolts up has been cut down too and everything bolts up the same . So I don't think that could be your problem .
