_shel_ny Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) Wow I guess that means I have a custom or deluxe 4door sedan. Now just to figure out the custom or deluxe. Custom vs Deluxe $60 more when new. Electric wipers were apparently standard on the Custom. Optional on the Deluxe. That and level of trim according to the Standard Catalog of American Cars. I swapped out my vacuum wiper set up with that from a Chrysler. A correction to my previous post. I thought that all D24's had "Fluid Drive". That was an option. In my limited experience, I have not seen one that was not equipped with FD. Edited March 23, 2013 by shel_bizzy_48 Quote

Fuel gauge and sender wiring on your D24 may vary from this D24 wiring diagram. Sender went from 2 wire to 1 wire during the 1948 production year. Edited March 24, 2013 by shel_bizzy_48 Quote
