Wow, some nice cars. I especially liked the black chopped and channeled fiberglass model A with the 348/409. And the elusive candy red Mercury coupe...Oh yeah, those old Plymouths were pretty neat too..

Norm;

I dont think this car is glass. This was one of several vehicles in the hosts shop and there was no sign of anything glass in this shop. I should have taken more pictures of the shop as it was huge and full of hot rods in the making.

Here is a link to more pictures.

Hey Don, What are they saying about your car? "Don Coatney's 'Poopy'"

Dennis:eek:

Dennis;

I was going to have Gator do a tattoo (poopy) on my car but Lisa did not like the name. She came up with a couple of suggestions so might name it down the road.

Don,

Did you by any chance get to ask this guy what color "blue" this car is??? I love it....

Allan

Allan;

I did not talk to the owner of that car. It was done very nicely.

Yeah, that firewall looks like steel, But, the grille shell hanging on the wall looks kinda like fiberglass.

Thx Don.... I just wondered what the name of the color was because mine should be about the same tint when I'm done... and I just want to get a glimpse of a full car done in majik blue pearl....

Don, that looks like a nice P15 behind yours.... Evidently a good get together.

Bob;

Talked to the owner. The car was pristine. Most of the paint is original. Engine ran great and was very quiet. Clock showed 95 grand or so. No rust that I saw. Guy had talked to George Asche and wants to go with dual everything. I told him about this forum and hope he chimes in soon.
