Chester Brzostowski
I have two P15 clocks and may probable get one working original setup out of the two. In the mean time I took the worst of the two and upgraded it to a 1.5 vdc Quartz Movement. I will bolt this one in my car and save the original clock project for another day.., way off in the future. Total Cost $11.95 - 30 minutes work. (Most of that time spent deciding which beer to drink.) The front and back are the same clock. Keep in mind that once you do this you can't restore the clock back to original. You have to drill the face to accept the movement. Also the back housing needs to be removed and cut flat to the frame. This is why I used a spare clock rather then my original. The face needs to be drilled with a slightly undersize drill for the movement so that the clock movement can be screwed into place. If not you will have to glue it since there isn't enough room between the face glass and the clock face to facilitate a lock nut. email me if you are interested in the parts list or instructions. Cheers, Chet…
