55 Fargo Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 Hey all, have lowered my truck, meaning removed the 3 inch blocks from the rear leafs. All new shocks, older radial tires, ride is much improved, but still is a truck, no complaints, but that is okay. I plan to use the truck, as a truck, so not planning to remove any leafs. The kings pins are decent, all suspension grease zerks lubed, a couple would not take grease, even with clean zerks. I need 2 outer tie rod ends, and steering will be great. How many of you keep something for weight in the box? I may go that route to smooth it out a bit. I can say this, these trucks are fun at 60 plus mph, mine seems to like 50-55 mph, even with a 3.23 diff. Quote
