55 Fargo Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 On my 55 Fargo 1/2 ton, the leaf spring spacers are over 3 inches thick, keeping the back up real; high. Any idea, what thickness of leaf spring spacer is correct? I figure about an inch, might be more in spec. Why did anyone use such a thick spacer, was it for more load/weight allowance, before bottoming out the truck....thanx Fred Quote
albolton Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) here is a before and after of mine...before with the three inch spacers you speak of, and after with the spacers out, and 2 leafs removed all the way around...mine did not bottom out at all in this configuration, just had to center the steering wheel again...and in my opinion looks way better Edited March 21, 2012 by albolton Quote
