bkahler Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Since my truck didn't have even the remains of a firewall pad I don't have a clue how one would have been fastened to the firewall. Can someone give me a clue on how they were fastened and what type of hardware is involved? Thanks, Brad Quote
Byronb3b Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 The firewall pad is held is place with push-in fasteners that go through the pad and into holes in the firewall, Restoration Specialties has them, item # 1790 @ 75 cents each or item # B925 @ 1.25 for thicker pads. Byron Quote
bkahler Posted April 14, 2007 Author Report Posted April 14, 2007 Byron: Thanks for the info. I had found in the factory parts manual that it calls for 12 fasteners but there was no clue given as to what they were. I really appreciate the help Brad Quote
