I took this question to another ''place'', so far the answers are....''.If the heater hose connection is higher than the intake. loosen the hose, slide it out aways, drill an 1/8 vent hole . fill and start and when coolant starts out the vent slide the hose back to cover it and tighten the clamp. ''.....also...''I do this trick all the time. It works great for filling the system quickly and without air. If you use a cooling system funnel it is even better. At work I use my vacuum lift. That is the best way to go''....not sure about this one, he maybe refferring the the hose thing.
