Drdialtone Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 I have a leaky rear trans oil seal. I bought a new one from Andy. The question is: * Is there some sort of pilot bushing that goes ahead of the seal? There is another part listed, "Case Extension Bearing"... does this go on the rear of the front of the shaft? Part T110 for 40-56 Plymouth. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 In order, coming off from the rear; nut, washer, drum and flange, oil seal, extension house bearing, long spacer, speedo drive gear, and last, main shaft rear bearing. So, if you are changing the rear seal, you won't take out anything else besides the seal. Quote
