Charlie Olson Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 The National Woodie Club just had their annual Drive Your Woodie Day, May 21st; asking for folks to submit interesting pics of their special places with their cars. I decided to wait until Memorial Day to do my pic, for submission, because we have a huge turn out, at the National Cemetery, in Phoenix, of collector cars and motorcycle groups with American flags every where, during the respectful Memorial Day ceremony. So, as Rockwood did their Victoria Day drive and photos; I thought it would be meaningful for us to drive our cars this coming weekend and submit pics, of unique and interesting places and events, in memory of those who have given their all to our country and to all of us. 1940plymouth Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 I took this photo of My Dad who is a World War Two Veteran last year at the Memorial Day or close to, Flag changing ceremony at our local cemetery. The Flag is changed on Memorial Day, then again on Veteran's Day. If the weather permits, I plan on taking him again this year on both occasions Quote
