55 Fargo Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Hi all, yesterday checked engine RPM, it was 500 rpm at idle, adjusted carb set idle slightly over 500 rpm , she is running decent at idle, adjusted fuel mixture, seems okay. Dwell angle is 36 degrees, timing is at TDC. All is well, at least in my book, the idle when warm is not quite as smooth as I would like it, but seems okay, this could be the age and miles on engine. Does this sound about right to you Guys?.....Thanx Fred Quote
aero3113 Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Hey Fred, you should make all of your adjustments with a vacuum gauge to really dial it in. Quote
