Welcome! Car looks great, keep up the good work. My Grand-dad had a '49 that color when I was a youngster and my Mom used to drive us everywhere in it.

His was all rusty colored? :D

This one used to be black, it got repainted somewhere along the way. Kind of a half-*** job, on one side the jambs are still black while the rest got painted red. I've been taking it all down to bare steel and priming.

I stripped around the window openings when I redid the glass and gaskets

And I figured since I was replacing the rear gasket I would add some more shiny stuff. I managed to get the trim off a '49 Chrysler.
