MarkAubuchon Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Is there a way to replace the clips on an existing 16inch Plymouth wheel? Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Mark.....do you still have the wheels you replaced with better ones a while back? If so, do they have clips on them? You can drill or knock out the rivet and re-rivet to the rim in question. Or you can use some small bolts with nuts - which I did since I had not found any rivets. I inserted the bolt from the back side of the wheel so as not to have a clearance issue with the brake drum. With a hubcap in place, no one sees what is holding on the clip. Quote
MarkAubuchon Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Bob, thats exactly what I will do. Since I have been working a lot in California, i recently started an infusion of "tiger blood" and not thinking clearly Quote
