Don Coatney Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 I cannot leave my tools out in the tent as they tend to rust. If the tools rust does the car also rust? I wonder if a woven poly tarpaulin placed under the car would help? Twenty bucks for a 12X20 foot tarpaulin at Northern Tool. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200381446_200381446 Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 I use a car cover company that comes to carlise and hershey. My covers are "life time warrenty" They breath and are very heavy. I use a cover on my cars even if they are inside the garage. As Don and Tim mentioned I put a tarp under my cars even in the metal garage. it must help because years before If it rained hard neither of my antiques would start until they dried out. The trap makes woking on the car alot easier as well because anything you drop you can find . Jim Swarts 1-800-268-3757 T.I.G/ Cover-up group The level of cover detemines how long the warrenty last. You must have your paper work. I keep mine in a very safe place. He has replaced two covers no questions asked. They are so good in my truck I have to bail water out because the water does no penetrate the cover.I also use wheel covers. THERE are holes for a cable as well. I dont have theft problems because my name is on all of them in BIG BOLD PRINT. Quote
Guest P15-D24 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 California Car cover was the best fitting and lasted the longest. Quote
