moulding clips for 1947 plymouth

Does anyone know if there is anyplace to get mounting clips for the side body moulding for 1947 plymouth business coupe ? Are there any alternatives out there in lieu of the originals ? I've been to Hersey , looked in Hemmings etc. These really seem to be rather hard to find. Thanks for any help.

When my son in law removed a trim piece from his P15 coupe, he found a

plastic mounting clip. Obviously not original, but he said it was holding the

part on tightly. Can't really describe it, but looks to be something

universal.

added info: They pretty much looked like these.

Got mine from Oreilys, its in there catalog. They are universal front and rear door clips. They are green metal and come 50 pieces a bag 41213000315
