The other day I rented and watched "Bugsy" with Warren Beatty. I was amazed at how many P15 's I saw in there. They were mainly used as taxies or police cars and were all for door sedans, but there were still a lot in there. It seems to me that many P15's were used as taxies and police cars, back then.

Sort of like poetic license, perhaps. Probably rented someone's restored taxi.....just happened they put a visor on it. How many movie viewers, beside us, would even notice such a thing???

BobT,

You are probably right about the taxi. There is an ambulance company in Milwaukee that has the contract at the State Fair. Go in their garage at the fair and you'll see (I think it's about a 51 or 52 Pontiac) ambulance sitting there all restored. Belongs to the owner of the ambulance company. It also has a Fulton on it. However, he painted the visor wrong. Instead of flat green on the bottom of the visor, it's high gloss white just like the rest of the ambulance. Bet that thing really glares back into the windshield that way. I did mention it years ago, don't think he ever changed the color though. He probably don't drive the thing anyway. I never see it at shows, just the fair.

Sorry guys...I didn't clearify. That is just a pic I found on the internet to give an example. I couldn't find any stills from the movie of the Plymouths. You'll have to rent it to see the cars. Just something to do on a boring day...LOL!
