"Way Back Machine"

Cooper and I just got back from adding 30 some odd miles to the Plymouth, this is one photo that I antiqued, as I figured the setting for good. Just a nice day to go for a ride in the "Way Back Machine":)

Other than being paved, it doesn't look like that part of the road has changed much in the past 70 plus years, narrow, with lots of stonewalls and trees along the road

Neat. A lot of the roads around here look like they are straight out of the 1930s and 40s.

Looks as if you have a "toy" for each road.

I like the Packard and the Willys sedan, don't see many of them anymore

I am not much in favor of things that dangle from rear view mirrors but it appears that your dangler is somewhat period correct.

Forrest Mars invented the recipe for M&Ms chocolate during the Spanish Civil War. Mars saw soldiers eating pieces of chocolate covered with a hard sugary coating. The coating preventing the candy from melting in the hot sun. Forrest Mars received a patent for his manufacturing process on March 3, 1941.
