Cpt.Fred Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) i "accidentally" bought this on the bay, cheap and nice, but i don't know if i can really use it (or make it suitable for 6 cyl 6V + ground operation). it is from "RADSON" as you can see and it's called a "transistor tach" on the back, it has 3 wires on it so i guess i don't need a sending unit... anyone know more about it? thanks! fred Edited August 15, 2010 by Cpt.Fred Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) Fred, Here's something I found on the Internet. I don't know what it'll tell you. http://ip.com/pdf/patent/US3202910.pdf Hope this helps. Well, clicking on this goes to error. Sorry! Just go to Radson transistorized tachometer and you'll get a PDF file. Tom Edited August 15, 2010 by P-12 Tommy Quote
james49ply Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 try it and see, if it doesn't work, then you just have an antique tach. Quote
