After I rebuilt the engine for my "42 P14C, I installed it back into the car and bolted it to the transmission. Afterwords, I realized that I had not positioned the clutch fork assembly and I cannot get it properly into place now. Is there a trick to getting that sucker clipped in place or do I have to remove the clutch-transmission to get it together?

Thanks!

Most likely you will need to remove the transmission and start over. The fork is attached to the throw out bearing with 2 special springs and it is attached to a ball in the bellhousing.
