KNicholas2 Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 After I rebuilt the engine for my "42 P14C, I installed it back into the car and bolted it to the transmission. Afterwords, I realized that I had not positioned the clutch fork assembly and I cannot get it properly into place now. Is there a trick to getting that sucker clipped in place or do I have to remove the clutch-transmission to get it together? Thanks! Kim Nicholas Seattle Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 Most likely you will need to remove the transmission and start over. The fork is attached to the throw out bearing with 2 special springs and it is attached to a ball in the bellhousing. Quote
KNicholas2 Posted June 6, 2010 Author Report Posted June 6, 2010 That is what I was afraid of..... thank you! Quote
