Front Brake Cylinders for 1950 Dodge B2B 1/2 Utility

Recommended Posts

Hi folk!

Can any one here supply me with the part nr for the front brake Cylinders, left and right. A weblink to what site, were to purchase these.

I have bought from http://www.rockauto.com all the parts for the rear barkes, but they have (I think) a incorrect listing for the front brake parts here:

DORMAN Part # W10588 {First Stop #1117808, 1311536, 5461535}

Rear Right; Bore = 1-1/8"

Rear Left; Bore = 1-1/8"

Have spoken to the dodo's in charge but no result..

Have a hard time locating the correct ones.

I have been given by someone else the following Raybestos Cylinder nr but am Not sure if this is correct..

Driver Side: WC6353

Passengers Side: WC6354

These should have a 1 3/8" bore

Please see photos attached my cylinders

My truck is a Dodge Fargo, 1950 108 wheelbase..

almost the same as a 1950 Dodge B2B utility.

Truck Serial Number 90512251

Year 1950

Make Dodge Fargo

Model FN-108

Engine 218.06 Flathead Six

Wheelbase 108

Rating ½ Ton

Engineering Code T173

Plant Windsor, Ontario

Build Number 5964

Thanks to all who look, and can help!

Just call Gary and tell him the year and model.

If money's not a major concern, I suggest for somewhere in the neighborhood of three hundred plus dollars, (not counting shoes) you replace the master and slaves all around. After driving and checking the brake fluid level for a few weeks and seeing it full everytime is a real good feeling.

Hi,

I know! I can see them too, online.., but they dont ship to Australia :(

I would need someone to post them, tried and asked but to no avail...

Anyway I only need the front ones.. small parcel

cheers Ryan

My local NAPA has come up with every one I've looked for. They had listings for my 48, I bought all 6 plus master from them. I'd guess they have yours too. Seems like the price was a couple dollars more than Roberts listing, but not much.
