Over time, I met on this forum a gent from Ohio by the name of Alan Parkhurst. Alan purchased a new wiring harness assembly for his B1B. Before he installed it, he laid it out on his garage floor and noted the measurements of each wire, color, gauge, etc. He was kind enough to share this info with me - all 17 pages of it.

I have since duplicated his harness for my own truck. In the process, I simplified his information, and reduced it to a few pages. It includes the color, gauge and length of each wire along with a numbered diagram of the harness itself. This is NOT a wiring schematic, but a recipe for making a harness like the one Alan bought.

If any of you are contemplating this venture for your own project and would like a copy of this information, just send to me a 39 cent stamp and an address label, and I’ll gladly share it with any of you who wish a copy. Then send $5 bukks to GTK, to help keep this forum oiled and running.:)

Thanks,

Dave Erb

How about I send you an envelope and stamp. I'll scan the pages in and post them on the DPETCA website so they are there permanently for any one who needs them to download them. Thanks for doing this kind of work guys.

Dave Erb sent me his illustrations for making the wiring harness and I am getting them ready to post on the web, along with his basic instructions. I've asked Allen to send me what info he has and his pictures. I'll put it all together and post it on the DPETCA website. I'll let you know as soon as it's ready - probably by this weekend. Then it will be all together in one location for everyone to access when they need it.:)
