Mustang6147 Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 I am looking for opinions, options, or general input on putting a dual Master Cylinder on my 41 Plymouth. I really want to keep it mounted on the frame. I would love to find one that simply bolts up where I took the old single cylinder one off. Quote
PatS.... Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 (edited) ECI has a bolt on...a few guys here have used it...seems pretty slick. This one belongs to a forum member but I've forgotten who...sorry. Edited February 25, 2010 by PatS.... Quote
james curl Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 The one Pat shows is for the P-15 which is not like the 41 model. Someone one has one on a 41 and the push-rod goes forward from the pedal ot an idler bell-crank before returning to the rear. Quote
fstfish66 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 ECI does make one for the earlier,, it uses a bell crank, ECI can send you pics of it,, i use to have them,, but i went with a kit from master power,,it was a new brake pedal,,and under frame mounting kit,,im running an auto,no clutch. the master cylinder kit if left alone will require you to relocate your under seat battery,,i just remade the mounting braket, moved it forward, shortened the linkage and kept the battery in the under floor box,,, sorry no pics at the moment the car is in storage for a little longer then i like,,, Quote
