RFleetwood Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 After many years of being involved with this great group; I realize with my current work load I may never get my 50 plymouth conv. on the road. Santa brought me my other car love a 1990 corvette conv. This one runs and drives yet needs a few little things to help me relax in the garage when time allows. Now I will probably be selling the plymouth project soon to devote more time to the vette. I will still be around for a while (at least till i sell) and have greatly enjoyed this forum and cant thank everyone near enough for all the help over the years. thanks Rich Quote
randroid Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Rich, It's always sad to hear that one of us is selling his car, but if I may paraphrase Three Dog Night, there will be one new owner born in this world to carry on. I don't know that I'd sell Pigiron (my '48 P-15) for a 'Vette because I already have a car that will go as fast as I want and can corner faster than I can. (Hell, man, there is no other domestic car comes close to being a 'Vette and I'm not being offered one so my words flow freely.) Go for it and come back to tell us what you're doing to it and how you're approaching specific situations. Just because we drive cars with patent numbers in the low teens doesn't mean one of us would find much fault in a man making the decision you made. Seriously, keep us posted. -Randy Quote
adam_knox Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Well congrats on your new ride. Perhaps next year Santa can send a few of his elves over to finish the Plym? Just one thing to think about, the driving the Plymouth instead of the Vette will probably save you big money. After all, how many of us have gotten speeding tickets in these old mopars? Congrats, keep us posted on what your up to!~Adam Quote

Can't ya find a place to put it for a while till ya come to your senses:D. You can still chew the fat with us Mopar nuts from time to time can't ya. Hope you enjoy the vette. ps You could always pull the drivetrain and suspension outta the vette and put it in the 50! Tell that one to Santa! Quote
