p24-1953 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 okay the throw out bearing should be free of the relase levers when the pedal is released correct? when the clutch is engaged what distance should there beteeen between the plates? (how much clearance does the clutch need to disengage?) Quote
norrism1 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 It only needs to be completely free from any contact with the pressure plate. What problems are you having? Quote
p24-1953 Posted January 3, 2010 Author Report Posted January 3, 2010 just wanting to make sure i have mine set right, so the throw out bearing should be free of the release levers most of the time correct? Quote
Niel Hoback Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 When the clutch pedal is up, the throw-out bearing should not touch the fingers at all. Quote
