Ok, next question.

I pulled this mirror out of a B series dodge that was in a salvage yard. My truck doesn't have holes that would work for this type of mirror. I also have a mirror that bolts through the inside glass center trim strip. Is there a concensus as to which mirror might be correct?

I had 3 51 b3b's and they all had the tapped hole in the center strip. None of the mirrors you show are the correct one. The one you need is about 6 inches long and 2 inches high with a 3 inch (+,-) long stud with a ball swivel out of the back that is held in place with a triangle plate that uses 3 screws to hold it down and it also adusts the tension on the ball joint to swivel. As for the outside mirror(s), it was mounted on the top door hinge with a longer pin.

Well it looks like I'm going to have to start looking for a review mirror :(

Fortunately I have two of the extendable type for use on the doors so all is not lost :D

Thanks for all the replys.

Brad
