so, I worked on the Chevelle today, had to remove the driveshaft, remove exhaust headers, unhook all the tranny goodies, unbolt the trans, slide it back, replace the starter flexplate and assemble in reverse order of dissasembly. What fun it was. now when I start it up there is no grinding, no tight or loose spots, sounds like it should when cranking. I am pleased with my progress on the Chevelle project, I now have one of my drivers back into driver mode...:cool:
