Is this a correct P15 item?

For sale on ebay........seller says is a cowl lace gasket for a 46 Plymouth.

I don't recall seeing such a thing.

Looks like a piece of inner tube to me.

It is correct for '46 thru '48 Chryslers and Desoto's to fill the gap where the hood hinge would have gone on the Dodge cars with the butterfly style hood, certainly not hood lacing.
