52FargoMan Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) Good Day. As I put together the cab of my 1952 truck I realized that I am assuming the following areas of the truck are level - bottom of cab, top of fender where the hood sits, and the radiator support (is vertical). Am I right? I attached some pictures of the areas I mean. I am putting on fibreglass fenders and they are a bit twisted, and I want to make sure that everything is level. Could someone check this for me please. Edited September 4, 2009 by 52FargoMan Quote
52FargoMan Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 Wow - 80 looks and no answer. Guess I should have checked the truck before I pulled it apart. Oh well... used to doing things alone. Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) The 81st look is the charm ! Let me know if this is enough info. Top of fender is level with the cab floor. Radiator is about 90 degrees to the floor and top of fender. Mine leans in towards the firewall about 2 degrees. OOPS Edited September 16, 2009 by Reg Evans Quote
52FargoMan Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Awesome! Thanks Reg. I now need to set the box on the frame and I'm finally winning. Quote
