Mick Blake Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 The paint is acrylic enamel from Lordco, Chrysler Monaco Red #73133, after searching dodge truck colors this is the match they came up with. The wheels are GM Bavarian Cream #2867, I searched this out on the internet and the Dodge truck cream number came out to this. As far as I can tell they look close to what they should be. I had done a 1954 Plymouth before this and had a lot of leads on Mopar stuff. It turned out the truck was more work because someone had tried to restore it before I got it and did a poor job.My advice would be to get car or truck which is original what ever the condition. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me. Quote
JJs 1948 Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 Looks like you have the "Fresh Air System". Do you still need to install a heater? I have the same setup you have and I will install my heater soon. Just want to make sure I connect all the heater hose sections properly. Could you show a couple more photos of the dashboard? It looks great. Thanks, Jeff Quote
Mick Blake Posted September 4, 2009 Author Report Posted September 4, 2009 JJ"s, The fresh air system is used with the heater, my heater is model 61.I do have some used parts for the air system but no duct. I have shown a picture of the system at the back of the heater in the fire wall. Quote
