IanT_Qld Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Went to the Allora Vintage Car Show and was pleasantly surprised to see 3 pilot houses. 2 Fargo's - The purple ute was a 54? with a 250 kew motor, the owner had the tray re-fabricated as his original was rusted out - neat job and a 48 Blue 1/2 ton Fargo. the green dodge is around 55 or 56 the owners were camping in the backs and having a good time, so I didn't disturb them. Got me inspired to bleed my brakes and discover a sizable hole in my Radiator. Quote
Tony WestOZ Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Some great looking trucks Ian. Three in the one place. The light (Tamiami) green is a 58-59 model. Perth had its Chrysler car show today. A bit disapointing. Enteries down on last year. Only 4 trucks in total. No trucks and only a handfull of cars pre 62. One reason entries and crowd were down, it was a very mild 42 deg C (108 deg F) today. I know I was home early. Quote
IanT_Qld Posted January 29, 2007 Author Report Posted January 29, 2007 I never got to the Perth Crysler car show, was on my things "to do list". Allora was about 35degC (95F) but there was shade and a breeze. Made it much more bareable. Quote
D25_Steve Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I really like that colour green on a truck. Quote
Guest Nile Limbaugh Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I'm sitting here trying to keep my feet from freezing to the floor and these guys from OZ are quoting temps in the 90's! Just wait until next June! Quote
