So I'm wanting to get a set of buckets out of a Ram (the ones with the seatbelt made into the seat) what would be the easiest way to go about doing this, my thought was to cut out the old seat frame and just go from there, another thought I had was to just fab something up and set them ontop/inside the current seat frame...whatcha guys think?

I've seen two Pilothouse trucks where the owner just removed the seat frame from the tracks - only four bolts and the whole frame comes out. Then they used seat bases from a full sized van and adapted these to the cab floor and bolted the buckets to these. Raises the seat up nearly 8 inches for a better height. If you're careful, you can do this and not destroy the ability to put it back stock some day, if you change your mind.
