  1. Lookin' to get a new straight axle (Speedway Motors, etc, something aftermarket) for my 52 1/2t. anyone know the length of the axle off the top of there head before I have to dig a path to get the garage with all this snow:mad:
  2. why not ditch the electronic throttle and go back to cable operated?
  3. Man I feel young..lol im not even 20 yet...
  4. Right is a plastic, I know its a repop, material didnt even matter to me, I shoulda know, cause if you notice, the screws are in the lense for the 57 lenses, the 53 lense has no screw holes in lense,
  5. I actually dont need either, bought them on the intentions of using them for the 52...but I found 2 good lenses in a box of parts my grandpa forgot to give me, Yeah I assumed the were for something atleast 57+ because I think 51-56 uses the same lense
  6. Bought it when I got my block and fenders in Ohio, but never took the time to worry about them or anything... I threw them in my box and went about my day, well I was workin on the 52 tryin to straight some grille pieces and needed to remove my lense (Original) to beat on the housing.... and I decided to compare them...wait.... WTF! These dont fit!!! the package clearly says 51-62...Shoulda knew something was wrong.....~57+(I think?) uses different lenses...didnt think anything of it, but these basterds are too big! I got them from Vans Automotive, they had a booth out there in Ohio...anyways, contacted them yesterday at 10am no response so far....im not even worry about returning them or getting my money back it was like $20 i'll ebay them or something, but anyways... Right - Correct Lense Left - Vans Auto CellPhone Picture....
  7. I'm stuck on which rear end to go with under the 52... either a 9 1/4 or an 8 3/4... one plus to a 8 3/4 would be I could just buy a new 3rd member and go... vs having to tinker with everything else just to change gears but... the 9.25 would be practically free...BUT also would have to shorten it up to fit under the truck..if I got an 8 3/4 from a B-Body...Which I have one VERRRRRRRRY close to my truck (Dads 69 Bee, He's wanting to do a D60 Under his Bee) it'd be almost a direct bolt in, just make some new brackets and stuff...i'd love to have an 8 3/4 just to say I have one but the 9 1/4 would do the job just as welll.. oh and need some help identifying this rear too, 99.9999% Sure its a 9 1/4 also assumed it was a D60 but D60 has 10 bolt and this one has 12....
  8. I didnt try putting the grille in from behind..ill test it out! Pilouthouse is a 52.
  9. didnt really inspect it too much, just threw it in, thought it looked cool, and took a picutre
  10. So I have a spare Dakota Grille from a Gen III (97-04) sitting around in the garage, and got the idea to do this... Whatcha think?
  11. Couldnt agree more with SBJ, Dodge seems to have always been an outcast...it just gets worse the older they are
  12. yeah I know, regardless, that rearend combo aint gonna work for what im doin
  13. Right on guys, I have access to an 8 3/4 from a 69 Bee...i'll "Test" Fit it and go from there:D Thanks alot for all the help and clearing up the mess, so correct me if im wrong (which is a VERY high possibilty) our trucks come with an 8 1/4?
  14. meh funk it, I dont care if its a 8 3/4 or not, just wantin to know the width of it so i can swap one in!
  15. Really? its not an 8 3/4? I guess I assumed it was because it looks identical to the one thats under my dads superbee...
  16. Left being Driverside...inside the cab...where the door adjustments can be made....
  17. Why isnt it a factory chrysler one?
  18. I Seen that in the VIN Decoding section, ill check it out! Thanks!
  19. so my trucks missing the plate that goes on the driverside door jamb? is this bad?....I looked in my box of parts, but can't find it... I seen on eBay they're repopping blank ones...
  20. Can someone tell me the width of the 8 3/4 rear under a 52 1/2t...i could go measure, but didnt know if someone knew off the top of there head
  21. yeah its honestly not that heavy, me and my buddy can lift it, plus ill have couple others when I load it on the trailer to have it blasted
