Actually, Pat.....there may well be a few of those items in Dad's oldest

tool box......things he used in the 1940s when he worked in a aircarft

plant during the war. And a few tools modified in some manner to allow

for a specific use, whatever it was.

Well that answers my question as to how old some of the tools i have are!:eek: i bought a one man shop out in the 80's and he had been in buisness for the past 50 yrs and a lot of the tools were old. wished he were still alive the man was a wonder with a flathead.
