If you are a woodie owner or fan you may have read in this past September’s ‘Woodie Times’, that Ernie Crotty of Visalia and others were in the process of determining the feasibility of starting a woodie chapter in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. The initial response was very good, and they've decided to host a one-day event to get woodie owners and enthusiasts together for some fun, fellowship, and to decide if forming a chapter makes sense.

They have selected the date of Saturday, March 10th to hold a woodie car show, barbecue, and cruise in the town of Reedley (near Fresno). They picked this date as it is right in the middle of the local blossoming of fruit, nut, and citrus trees, which combines to put on an exceptional show of nature’s beauty. There is an actual tour route (read woodie cruise) called "Blossom Trail" which consists of miles and miles of some wonderful country roads passing alongside the blossom orchards. This “trail” runs right through Reedley. For a preview, go to the Blossom Trail website: http://www.driveblossomtrail.com.

As a P10 woodie owner, I am extending the invitation to our P15 D24 Forum members. Here is the new website http://valleywoodies.com/Home_Page.html and a picture of Ernie's '47 (I think) P15, and my P10 wreck.
