Well, it took a replacement fuel pump, and some fiddlin' with the choke, but it started and ran today.

I got a short video of it after I played with the choke a bit...I stepped back and took this video. First one with the new digital camera.

She moved around the yard for the second time in 2 days. Yesterday it was with a jerry can tied to the cowl...today, it's running on the fuel pump as it should. :D

The clutch is perfect, even the 2 speed rear end works!

The engine is one that was advertised on Kijiji here for free. It was being replaced by a new Hemi in a Fargo pickup. I had no real use for it. but running and free was irresistable.

I gave the Fargo to my nephew because I just wasn't going to be able to tackle it for a while and he really wanted it. It was the right move I think.

So, my role was just advisor and parts guy, he did all the work, and did it this far outside, sometimes in the snow, in a month.

This is the engine the day I picked it up last fall.

So, now I just have to wait until he gets it all wired and the fenders back on and then I'll reposses it!!!!!! :D:eek:

Old age and treachery beats youth and skill anyday;)
