Guest 1952_Cambridge Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Found this site over on he HAMB. Nice site. I've surfed around a little and it looks like this place is loaded with info. I'm 28 married with 3 kids. My wife is deployed to Iraq so I'm doing the single dad thing at the moment. Doesn't leave much time for toys but I'll make it. My current project is a 1952 Plymouth Cambridge. If I can figure it out i will post a pic. Quote
PatS.... Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Welcome. That's a really nice ol' Plymouth. How's the ride? Is it on hydraulics or airbags? Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Hello Mr. Cambridge.....welcome to the forum. Nifty car..... Where do you reside----I'm in southwest Missouri. 3 kids....yep, that oughta keep you pretty busy alright. Quote
Guest 1952_Cambridge Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I am located in Colorado Springs. It's a toasty 0 degrees outside right now and snowing. The car has airbags with 2 link setup right now. I am getting ready to redo the suspension and drive train. Right now it still has the flathead with three speed. Still undecided what motor I'm going to run. Quote
Allan Faust Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Welcome aboard.... nice car..... Just for curiosities sake, if you have pics of the suspension setup, I'm all eyes and ears.... I'd like to set up bags on my 50, but there is no set "kit" to do so, so I'd like to see how its done...... you can post em here, or send em via email if you have em...... Allan Quote
JerseyHarold Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Welcome aboard. Good looking Cambridge. I have a four-door. You'll be amazed at all the knowledge and information you can get on this forum. Quote
Normspeed Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Mackster on this forum is going to like what he sees. He's working on a chopped and lowered 53 DeSoto. Buick grille will be peaked at the center to fit the contour of the front end. I had my wagon down pretty low but I brought it back up a notch, it was riding on the snubbers. Here's how it looked at its lowest. Welcome to the forum. Quote
