Off Topic - Sort of - Dana

Can any one out there tell me about Dana products? Just an overall opinion of the quality. Is it good, bad, indifferent? Better a long time ago or better now?

Dana is a fine company - they make gear boxes, engine parts, etc., and are owned by NAPA, according to folks I know. I wass involved with their training programs for years,and have nothing but respect for the company and their products.

Thanks. A friend of mine is looking to go to work for them. With all the problems in the auto industry, he is wondering if they will survive, seeing how the automakers are looking at bankruptcy. I thought they made good stuff. I just thought I would check here to see if that was still the case.
