Does anyone know if the rocker panels for a chrysler/desoto will work on a plymoth or dodge,I have a pair of replacement rockers for a 49 to 54 chrysler and found someone needing them for a 49 plymouth. I also have a master cylinder and front wheel cylinders for a 49 to 54 chrysler and know someone needing them for a 51 plymouth so will the chrysler beake parts work on the plymouth. Jeff

The rockers are a doubtful interchange, the brake parts should be a go, like the MC, wheel cyls, not the drums or shoes, as Chrysler are 11 inch and Plymouth are 10 inch, the brake hoses should be the same too....Fred

The rocker panels on a 1949-52 DeSoto/Chrysler will fit a 1949-52 Dodge Meadowbrook / Coronet as they shared bodies but not a Plymouth. Wheelbase differences between Dodge, DeSoto and Chrysler in those years was all in the hood but the Plymouth body was shorter and narrower.

Actually, the 11 inch drums may fit the Plymouth too. Some Plymouth's did come with 11 inch drums. My 48 coupe had 11 inch drums on it before I put disc brakes on it. So, went with 11" rotors to keep everything the same size.
